Analysis
The first step is to understand your current document output environment. Our DOC@nalysis process is a proven strategy to gather this information quickly - without disruption to your work environment.
Here’s what you can expect during the analysis phase:
 Asset Identification
| We leverage network technology to gather information about your output devices (printers, copiers, and fax machines). A non-invasive USB key captures key information that is stored on your network devices: models, serial numbers, and meter readings. This information is placed into a Doc@nalysis template to easily manage and report the findings. |

Cost Identification
| We work with you to determine the current cost of supplies, parts, service, and support for each device. For printers, this can be done by gathering information from your office supply invoices or by using a recent survey of print cartridge prices from national office supply retailers. For copiers, this can be done by auditing your copier service agreements. The goal is to calculate the total cost of ownership by device and for the enterprise. |

Application Assesment
| Through end user interviews and physical observation, we look for unique applications and business critical documents. |
Office Layout
| With a floor plan in hand, we do a quick walk through of your facilities, noting the location of each of your devices. With your permission, we’ll talk with department managers where appropriate to learn the key needs of their departments. |

A Complete Inventory of Assets
At the end of the analysis phase, you’ll receive a complete inventory of your document output assets. Simply seeing a list of every copier, printer, and fax machine with associated volumes and locations in one report is valuable management information.
