A Comprehensive Analysis

OfficeWare’s DOC@nalysis 4-step service offers a comprehensive analysis of both your hardcopy and electronic document environment.

Step One: Identify Goals and Scope
First, we establish clear goals for the study. We will review your business and IT objectives, recognize the impact that the study may have on them, and set the scope of the DOC@nalysis service.

Step Two: Data Collection
Using OfficeWare-designed computer programs and on-site walk throughs, our team will capture the necessary data to provide a thorough quantitative and qualitative assessment of your document environment.  We develop an inventory of all hardcopy devices, observe document workflow, and study key applications. We will conduct end-user and IT personnel interviews, study forms usage, analyze document management requirements, and much more.

Step Three: Detailed Analysis
Next, we develop a total cost of ownership (TCO) model of your document environment using the OfficeWare TCO tool. This tool takes the data collected and provides a department-by-department, device-by-device assessment of utilization and costs.  Once the hard cost data is recognized, qualitative data from interviews is considered, and workflow is analyzed. OfficeWare will spot the strengths and weaknesses of your current environment and measure them against your business and IT goals.

Step Four: Findings and Recommendations
We’ll present a detailed management report and summary of the DOC@nalysis findings. The report includes a detailed cost analysis with spreadsheets, requirements, and easy-to- understand graphs, as well as recommendations for improving your current workflow model.
